Nail psoriasis

Psoriasis usually affects skin, but can also affects nails. Both fingernails and toenails can be affected. Symtoms include nail pitting, abnormal nail growth, or discoloration. Severe nail psoriasis causes nails to be loose and separate from the nail bed. Sometimes nail psoriasis is difficult to treat since it is difficult for medication to go through nails.
