Neurofibromatosis is a condition that tumors form on nerve tissues including brain, spinal cord and erves. Neurofibromatosis 1 (NF1) usually appears in childhood. Symptoms include flat light brown spots on the skin, freckling in the armpts or groin area, soft bumps on or under the skin, curved spine, bowed lower legs etc.
